Gladys P. Oliver

Gladys P. Oliver, age 84, a resident of Breckenridge, Missouri, passed away at her residence, on Monday, August 23, 2010. She was born on December 10, 1925, the daughter of Elish and Ruby (McCowan) Miller in Pulaski, Missouri. On August 5, 1950 she married William Morris Oliver in Waynesville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2006. Gladys dearly loved her family and her dogs. She is survived by five sons, Ronald, William and George Oliver all of Breckenridge, Missouri, Paul David Oliver of Fort White, Florida and Leslie Henson of Chillicothe, Missouri; four daughters, Lois Henson, of Caney, Kansas, Sharon K. Mason of Fort White, Florida, Brenda L. Durnett of Breckenridge, Missouri and Margaret Jones, of Saint Joseph, Missouri; 26 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and sisters and one great granddaughter. Services will be held at the Pitts Funeral Home Breckenridge, Missouri on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery Breckenridge, Missouri. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Wednesday August 25, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pitts Funeral Home in Breckenridge. Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
