Gilbert Bolling Gilbert Bolling, age 85, a Cowgill resident, passed away October 7, 2017, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri. Gilbert was born the son of Wayne Bolling and Zena May (Hobbs) Bolling on February 29, 1932, in Taney County, Missouri. He married Linda Mae Hickman on July 18, 1952, in Harrison, Arkansas. She survives of the home. Gilbert loved the outdoors as he farmed for a living. He was the pastor at Gospel Christian Center, Cowgill, Missouri. Survivors include his wife Linda, of the home; four sons, Glen Alan Bolling, Cowgill, Missouri, Gilbert Wayne Bolling, Polo, Missouri, Lewis Dale Bolling, Cowgill, Missouri, and Ben Aaron Bolling, Jetmore, Kansas; four daughters, Charline Renee Uchtman, Carthage, Missouri, Charlotte Arlene Walker, Hoyt, Kansas, Wanda Darlene McBee, Cowgill, Missouri, and Linda Karlene Smith, Dodge City, Kansas; thirty-eight grandchildren and forty-one great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and two granddaughters. Funeral services will be held at Gospel Christian Center, Cowgill, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Visitation starts at 10:00 AM, testimonies at 10:45 AM, and service to follow. Burial will follow at Black Oaks Cemetery, Cowgill, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Christian Center and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
