Gerald Woodrow Long Gerald Woodrow Long, age 75, a resident of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Life Care Center in Carrollton, Missouri. Gerald was born the son of Harry and Doris (Hinnen) Long on July 10, 1940, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Gerald worked as a Truck Driver for Waller's Truck Line in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, for several years. He was a member of the Highview Baptist Church Chillicothe, Missouri. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2428, Chillicothe Elks Lodge #656, and former Moose Lodge member of Kansas City, Missouri Gerald is survived by one son David Long and wife Dena of Trenton, Missouri; two daughters Cindy Collins and companion Larry of Eureka, Kansas; Kim Hamilton and husband Bill of Trenton, Missouri; one brother Marvin Long and wife Kathy of Sun City, Arizona; one uncle Lawrence Hinnen and wife Dorothy of Chula, Missouri; one aunt Dorothy Stith and husband Delbert of Chillicothe, Missouri; six grandchildren Glenda Ely, Katie Long, Sierra Long, Jordan Long, Jason Standiford, and Cody Reeder, six great-grandchildren Ayden Reeder, Aden Long, Zachary Standiford, Aris Long, Ashiah St.Onge, and Zachary Blixt; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday February 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. There is a scheduled family visitation on Tuesday February 9, 2016, at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call on Tuesday February 9, 2016 from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home Chillicothe.
