Georgia Thomas Georgia Thomas, age 85, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Georgia was born the daughter of James (Fred) and Veda Christene (Brehm) Thomas on October 31, 1926, in Linneus, Missouri. She was a 1943 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She was a sales and service clerk for Sears in Chillicothe for many years. She was a member of the American Cancer Society, R.S.V.P. where she volunteered at Threads, and the Hedrick Medical Center Auxiliary. Survivors include two brothers, Walter Thomas and wife Brigitte of Fresno, California, James Thomas and wife Carolyn of Arlington, Virginia; two sisters, Frances Buckner of DeKalb, Illinois, Judy Thomas of Brookfield, Missouri; several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Richard Lee Thomas and Robert J. Thomas; one nephew Robert J. Thomas, Jr. A Graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, December 30, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation.
