Gayle Gordon Gayle Gordon, age 70, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at John Knox Village, Lee's Summit, Missouri. Gayle was born the daughter of Everard A. (Sarge) and Eunice (McBride) Curtis on December 12, 1946 in Falls City, Nebraska. She worked as a Nursing Assistant for Dr. Roger Fraser and Dr. Christopher Hulett for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, watching sci-fi movies, and having cocktails with her friends. Survivors include one son, Craig Gordon and wife Donna of Lee's Summit, Missouri; four grandchildren, Lauren Gordon, Caden Gordon, Megan Batusic, and Lane Batusic; one niece, Kimberli Brennan and Janice Reed; two nephews, Dr. Curt Brennan and wife Connie, and Sean Brennan and wife Ellie; three great nephews, Colin Brennan, Cameron Brennan, and Hunter Brennan; one great niece, Erin Brennan; and one brother-in-law, Mike Brennan of Clearwater, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Sharon Brennan. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 3, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 3, 2017, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held at Steele Cemetery, Falls City, Nebraska, at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Steele Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
