Gayle Lee (Phillips) Dunwoodie Gayle Lee (Phillips) Dunwoodie, age 54, a resident of Braymer, Missouri passed away July 18, 2011, at North Kansas City Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Gayle was born on February 5, 1957, to Bobbie and Dorothy (Davis) Phillips at the Braymer Clinic in Braymer, Missouri. She married Paul David Dunwoodie at the Braymer Baptist Church on June 25, 1977. She was currently attending the First Christian Church in Braymer. In addition to her husband, Paul, of the home survivors include daughter Katie Nicole Lowe and husband Mike of Chillicothe, Missouri; twin sons, Matthew Lawrence Dunwoodie and Zackary Glenn Dunwoodie and friend Marsha Roth and grandson Chance Reidyn Dunwoodie all of Braymer, Missouri; her mother, Dorothy Phillips of Braymer, Missouri; one brother, Marshall Phillips and wife Chelee of Braymer, Missouri; one sister Charlotte Stiens and husband Larry of Maryville, Missouri; mother-in-law Marie Dunwoodie and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, and infant brother, Stacey Dean Phillips; maternal grandparents W.W. and Gerturde Davis and paternal grandparents Virgil and Goldie Phillips. Gayle was a 1975 graduate of Braymer C-4 High School and completed one year of studies at Northwest Missouri State University where she was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. She had been employed by Fuson and Associates and the former Braymer Pharmacy. She was a local member of Chapter Q PEO and Delta Chi sorority. She especially enjoyed her scrapbooking and Longaberger basket friends. Funeral Services will be held at the Braymer C-4 High School in Braymer, Missouri on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Braymer C-4 High School gymnasium. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursday July 21, 2011 at Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer, Missouri. Memorials may be made to the Anderson Ballpark Building Fund and left at the funeral home or mailed to Pitts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri.
