Gary Wayne Whorton

Gary Wayne Whorton, age 79, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at his home.

Gary was born in Chillicothe, Missouri, on November 12, 1945. He served in the United States Navy from 1963 until 1967, and was a Vietnam Combat Veteran.

Gary was employed as a design engineer with Knappco Civacon until his retirement.

Survivors include three sisters, Linda Whorton Corona of Gladstone, Missouri, Marilyn Burnett (Cecil) of Smithville, Missouri and Diana Krone (Roger) of Gladstone, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
