Gary "Foot" Wayne Wensel Gary "Foot" Wayne Wensel, age 75, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at his residence. Gary was born the son of George and Margaret (Moore) Wensel on April 27, 1941, in Mexico, Missouri. He was a graduate of Mooresville High School. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Powers on October 9, 1964, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She preceded him in death on January 6, 2015. Gary worked for Donaldson Company for many years. He then worked for Midwest Vending for several years. Gary was a member of the Chillicothe Eagles Aerie No 2428, and the Chillicothe Boat Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include one son, Rusty Wensel and wife Donna of Winchester, Virginia; four grandchildren, Patrick Wensel of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Andrew Silva of Leesburg, Virginia, Sierra Carter of Winchester, Virginia, and Bryce Carter of Purcellville, Virginia; one great grandchild, Kylie Silva of Leesburg, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Marilyn. A Memorial Service will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, May 8, 2016, one hour prior to the service from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, May 7, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
