Gary "Steve" Warner, age 66, a resident of Ludlow, Missouri, formerly of Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020, at his residence.
Steve was born the son of Charles B. "Curly" and Shirley (Brown) Warner on May 21, 1953, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Steve was a 1971 graduate of Hale High School, Hale, Missouri. Steve worked as appliance repair man for over 20 years, and most recently owned his own appliance repair service in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. On October 8, 2015, he was united in marriage to Julie Anne (Brill) Voeller in Fort Collins, Colorado. She survives of the home. Steve enjoyed riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and remodeling old houses. Steve was also a member of the Red Feather Lakes volunteer fire department. While living in Kimberling City, Missouri, he was active in the Jiu-Jitsu community.
Survivors include: his wife, Julie of the home; two sons, Stacy Warner and Kim Guilford of Wakenda, Missouri, and Charles Warner and wife Emily of Ludlow, Missouri; two daughters, Gara Webb and husband Brad of Ludlow, Missouri, and Jacey Mohr and husband Mike of Ludlow, Missouri. Steve is also survived by eleven grandchildren; one brother, Fred Warner and wife Brenda of Wheeling, Missouri; and three sisters, Ronda Pickett and husband Nathan of Dearborn, Missouri, Lauri Hughes and husband Steve of Forrest City, Missouri, and Jenni Littrell of Liberty, Missouri. Steve was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Avalon Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home P.O. Box 47 Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Online condolences may be left a www.lindleyfuneralhome.com
