Gary Lee Minnis

Gary Lee Minnis Gary Lee Minnis, age 73, a resident of Gravois Mills, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014, at his residence. Gary was born the son of Lyle and Kathryn (Jones) Minnis on April 5, 1941, in Braymer, Missouri. He was a member of the United States Navy. Gary worked for Cessna Aircraft Company. He also worked for Bud Shull Chevrolet Oldsmobile in Brunswick, Missouri, for many years. Survivors include two sons, Loren Minnis and wife Olga of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Arron Sterling of Moyock, North Carolina; three daughters, Wanda Higgins and husband Paul of Dallas, Texas, Rhonda Morton and husband Tim of Bloomfield, Iowa, and Leta Minnis of North Carolina; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Rick Minnis and wife Loretta of Hale, Missouri; one sister, Charlotte Watts and husband John of Satsuma, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Wendell Dean Minnis. Memorial services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Friday, November 7, 2014, from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at Enon Cemetery, Enon, Missouri.
