Gary M. Jones, age 79, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri.
Gary was born the son of Frank and Edna (Karguth) Jones on December 22, 1940, in Jamesport, Missouri. He was a 1958 graduate of Jamesport High School. Gary served in the United States Navy from 1958 until 1962. He was united in marriage to Karen Kay Citron on November 1, 1964, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. Gary owned and operated Gary's Appliance Service in Chillicothe, Missouri, for over 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Jones of the home; one daughter, Kim Griffin and husband Rick of Chillicothe, Missouri; five granddaughters, Megan Taylor, Madison Yardley, Ashley Britt, Misty Land, and Camie Harrison; nine great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Frank and Larry Jack Jones, mother-in-law, Mary Shaub and father-in-law, Lyman Shaub.
Cremation was held. No services are scheduled at this time.
