Gary Gene Harper Gary Gene Harper, age 63, a resident of Cameron, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at his residence. Gary was born the son of Willie Eugene and Maurine (Johnson) Harper on June 8, 1953, in Trenton, Missouri. He served in the Army National Guard. Survivors include three sons, Cody Hayes of Cameron, Missouri, Michael Hayes of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Shawn Loveland of Liberty, Missouri; four daughters, Dawn Watkins of Jamesport, Missouri, Michelle Garner of Lexington, Missouri, Glenda Clancy of Henrietta, Missouri, and Mary Roy of Cameron, Missouri; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Harper of Trenton, Missouri, and Guy Smith of Oklahoma; five sisters, Vickie Mackley of Dawn, Missouri, Peggy Harper of Arkansas, Lillie Brown of Oklahoma, Belinda Cook of Oklahoma, and Rose Boyle of Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and one nephew. A graveside service will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri, on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gary Harper Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
