Gary Richard Cox Gary Richard Cox, age 64, a resident of Bucklin, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 near Wheeling, Missouri. Gary was born the son of Tinsley and Nadine (Leedom) Cox on April 6, 1948 in Cameron, Missouri. He was a 1965 graduate of Cameron High School. He lived in Kidder, Missouri and then Dawn, Missouri before moving to Bucklin, Missouri in 2009. Gary served in the United States Air Force from 1967 until 1971. While serving, he did avionics on cargo jets. He worked at Donaldson's in Chillicothe from 1971 until 2009 before retiring in 2010. He was a member of the Dawn Federated Church, Dawn, Missouri. He was very dedicated to his job. He loved reading, music, and old movies, particularly westerns. Gary is survived by one son, Nick Cox and wife Mallory of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; one daughter, Rhea Banks and husband Kenny of Lake City, Florida; one step-daughter, Danielle Davenport of Tina, Missouri; step-sons, Chris Durnil and Michael Stoddard of Ludlow, Missouri; significant other, Linda Stoddard of Bucklin, Missouri; one brother, Greg Cox and wife Debbie of Kidder, Missouri; one sister, Dena McCrea and husband Darrell of Kidder, Missouri; and thirteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe at 1:30 p.m. There will be a family visitation on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Highland Cemetery, Hamilton, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dawn Federated Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
