Frieda McMichael Frieda McMichael, age 85, a resident of Independence, Missouri, a former resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016, at her residence. Frieda was born the daughter of Fred and Gladys Wiltgen on July 25, 1931, in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Gerald McMichael. He preceded her in death on September 14, 1982. Survivors two sons, Steven McMichael of Independence, Missouri, and Dennis McMichael of Independence, Missouri; one grandson, Danny McMichael of Independence, Missouri; and one sister, Wanda Riley of Fairfield, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Gerald. Graveside services will be held at the Hale Cemetery, Hale, Missouri, on Monday, October 31, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation.
