Fredrica “Freddie” Alice Heisey

Fredrica “Freddie” Alice Heisey, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023, at Livingston Manor Care Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.

Freddie was born the daughter of Fred and Juanita (Hargis) Parrett on September 23, 1941, in California. After graduating high school, she served in the United States Air Force from 1960 until 1964. Fredrica was united in marriage to Larry Gale Heisey on March 30, 1963, in Denver, Colorado. He survives of the home.

Freddie worked as the bookkeeper at Montgomery Ward and JC Penney. She then worked as the office manager for Chillicothe Cable for many years. Freddie was a member of the Vern R. Glick American Legion Post #25 and was a past president of the Auxiliary. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed sewing. She also loved collecting coins.

Survivors include her husband, Larry, of the home; one son, Bryce Heisey and wife, Pamela of Smithville, Missouri; two grandchildren, Paige Heisey and Landon Heisey of Smithville, Missouri; and one brother, Bruce Parrett and wife, Victoria of Taos, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be held at the Bucyrus Cemetery, Bucyrus, Kansas, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vern R.
