Freddy Gene Lawson Freddy Gene Lawson, age 74, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri. Freddy was born the son of Fred and Inez Lawson on November 19, 1938, in Daviess County, Missouri. He was a 1956 graduate of Jamesport High School. Freddy was united in marriage to Helen McElwee on April 18, 1981, in Braymer, Missouri. She survives of the home. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 37 years. Freddy was a member of the First Baptist Church, Braymer, Missouri. Survivors include his wife, Helen of the home; one sister, Donna Michael and husband Robert of Hamilton, Missouri; and four brothers-in-law, Charles McElwee of Braymer, Missouri, and Billy McElwee and wife Wanda of Braymer, Missouri, Bobby McElwee of Meadville, Missouri and Terry McElwee and wife Clea of St Charles, Missouri; one sister-in-law Nancy Caudle and husband David of Braymer, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Lawson; two brothers-in-law Johnny McElwee, and Larry McElwee and two sisters-in-law Janice McElwee and Leanna McElwee. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church, Braymer, Missouri, on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, from 12 noon until 7:00 PM. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, P.O.
