Fredrick "Freddie" L. Ballard, age 83, a resident of Cameron, Missouri, passed away at the Missouri Veterans Home, Cameron, Missouri, on Tuesday, August 24, 2010. He was born on February 9, 1927, the son of Fred and Rosa (Frazier) Ballard in Gallatin, Missouri. On June 12, 1995, he married Delpha Mae Williams. He was a Manager for Thunderbird Trailer Park in Pomona, California for over thirty years after that he was a Manager of a trailer park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Freddie is survived by his wife Delpha of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three daughters, Diana Ballard of Jamesport, Missouri, Joyce Page of Jamesport, Missouri, Betty Maupins and son-in-law Buddy of Trenton, Missouri; one brother Bill Ballard and sister-in-law Evelyn of Loma Linda, California; eleven grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, three brothers Bobby, J.T. and Wesley Ballard and one sister Mary Margaret Walsh. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Thursday, August 26, 2010, at 1:00 P.M.
