Franklin "Frank" Gerald Cartright Franklin "Frank" Gerald Cartright, age 75, a resident of Marionville, Missouri, formerly of Alpha, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at his residence. Franklin was born the son of Boyd and Rose (Dominque) Cartright on April 25, 1942, in Trenton, Missouri. He was a 1960 graduate of Laredo High School. He was united in marriage to Patricia Ogle on February 15, 1964, in Jamesport, Missouri. He worked as a mechanic for Chillicothe Ford, owned and operated the Alpha Garage in Alpha, drove the school bus for Laredo School and hauled water for the local racetrack and local farmers. Frank then worked for Inland Truck Parts for 30 years until his retirement. He enjoyed shooting trap and tractor pulling miniature tractors. Frank also loved gardening, hunting, and fishing. Survivors include wife, Patricia Cartright of the home; one daughter, Resa Trader and husband Darren of Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Lila Searcy and husband Billy of Alpha, Missouri; three grandchildren, Cassinda Deckard and husband Jason of Springfield, Missouri, Athena Pierce of Indianola, Iowa, and Kegan Trader of Springfield, Missouri; and four great grandchildren, John "Trey" Birdwell, Brooklyn Beougher, Rileigh Pierce, and Hayden Charlton. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, March 15, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
