Frank Donald Etzenhouser, Sr. Frank Donald Etzenhouser, Sr., age 80, a resident of Dawn, Missouri, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018, at his residence. Frank was the son of Fredrick C. and Rosemary (McDaniel) Etzenhouser on September 10, 1938, in Nevada, Missouri. He was a 1956 graduate of Central High School, Kansas City, Missouri. Frank served in the United States Air Force. He was united in marriage to R. Nadine Evans on November 22, 1958, in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives of the home. Frank worked as a police officer in Kansas City, Missouri, for 25 years, retiring with the rank of Captain. He attended UMKC, Kansas City, Missouri, where he graduated at the age of 45 in 1983, with a degree in education. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, where he served as a deacon. He served as a volunteer for hospice, Operation Help, the American Cancer Society Road to Recovery Transportation Program, and served as an EMT for Dawn First Responders. Frank's hobbies included fishing, hunting, and refinishing antiques. He coached numerous baseball and softball teams. Survivors include his wife, Nadine, of the home; one son, Frank D. Etzenhouser, Jr., and wife Dr. Angela Etzenhouser of Platte City, Missouri; two daughters, Pamela Jane Stallard of Plattsburg, Missouri, and Jennifer Anne Reeter and husband Eric of Chillicothe, Missouri; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Joyce McCollum and husband Marty of Independence, Missouri; stepsister, Chari King of Washington D.C.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Jimmie Lou Brown. Funeral services will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, October 1, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, October 1, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Welsh Cemetery, Dawn, Missouri.
