Francis F. Reed

Francis F. "Phil" Reed, age, 88, a life long Breckenridge, Missouri resident passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Braymer, Missouri. Phil was born on February 6, 1923 in Daviess County, Missouri, the son of T.W. (Dugan) Reed and Ester Elizabeth (Allen) Reed. In 1941 he graduated from Breckenridge High School. On March 25, 1951 he married Patricia Ann Woolsey in Breckenridge, Missouri. Phil was a life long farmer in the Breckenridge area. He was a sixty five year member of the Breckenridge Masonic Lodge #334 AF & AM and a past board member of the Daviess County S.W.C.D. Survivors include one son, Joe Reed and wife Tonya of Breckenridge Missouri; two daughters, Susan Anderson, and Luann Foley and husband Mike all of Braymer; one sister, Eleanor (Reed) WeMott of Edmund Oklahoma; six grand children, Hope Turner, Jeffrey Schwaneke, Kara Foley, and Colby, Madison, and Christian Reed and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by His parents, wife Patricia and one brother Charles. Funeral services, with Masonic services, will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at The Breckenridge United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Friday August 26, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Pitts Funeral Home in Breckenridge. Friends may call from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Breckenridge, Missouri.
