Frances "Eleanor" Ward Frances "Eleanor" Ward, age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Indian Hills - A Stonebridge Community, Chillicothe, Missouri. Eleanor was born the daughter of Maurice Wilbur and Cora Edith (Barry) Livingston on May 23, 1935, in Rural Livingston County, Missouri. She was a 1953 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She was united in marriage to William "Don" Ward on August 22, 1954, at the Liberty Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 30, 2009. Eleanor worked as a bookkeeper for 26 years. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Addiction Studies from Graceland University on May 19, 2002. She worked as a certified substance abuse counselor. She was a member of the Chula Baptist Church, Chula, Missouri. She was also a member of the Chocolate Chippers of Liberty, and the Red Hatters. Eleanor served as a volunteer for R.S.V.P. She was an avid reader. Survivors include two sons, Dale Ward of Chula, Missouri, and fiancé Tawny Epperson of Trenton, Missouri, and Craig Ward and wife Diane of Meadville, Missouri; three grandchildren, Melissa Feese and husband Chris, Crystal Ward, and Lacey Osmon and husband Danny; five great grandchildren, Riley Ireland, Gabrielle Tiblow, Clayton Tiblow, Corey Feese, and Logan Osmon; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Don. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, September 22, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, September 22, 2017, one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, September 21, 2017, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
