Frances "Eilene" Ishmael

Frances "Eilene" Ishmael Frances "Eilene" Ishmael, age 85, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, formerly of Wheeling, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Eilene was born the daughter of Edward and Sylvia (Spainhour) Bowe on July 20, 1929, in Chula, Missouri. She was a 1947 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She was united in marriage to William Claudie Ishmael on December 25, 1952, in Trenton, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 18, 2003. Eilene worked as a Cook for Wheeling R-IV School from 1969 until 1994. Eilene made her final home in Chillicothe, where she moved from Wheeling, Missouri, in 2011. She was an avid fan of the Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs and NASCAR. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and quilting. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia (Diana) Epperson of Cameron, Missouri, and (Debra) Joann Shafer of Chillicothe, Missouri; one stepdaughter, Claudia (Maxine) Lisle and husband Tye of Trenton, Missouri, one stepson, Richard Lee Ishmael and wife Margaret of Chillicothe, Missouri; one stepdaughter-in-law, Shella Ishmael of Marceline, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and two brothers, Lloyd Bowe and wife Barbara, and Russell Bowe and wife Sandy both of Chillicothe, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claudie; great granddaughter, Megan Marie Ishmael; and stepson, Eugene Ishmael. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, March 20, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Missouri.
