Frances Elizabeth Gillilan Frances Elizabeth Gillilan, age 93, a resident of St. Joseph, Missouri, formerly of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013, at Heartland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, Missouri. Frances was born the daughter of Joseph and Lessie (Clark) Goodman on February 22, 1920, in Mooresville, Missouri. She was a 1937 graduate of Mooresville High School, Mooresville, Missouri. Frances was united in marriage to Lawrence D. Gillilan on August 1, 1936, in Sampsel, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 20, 1995. She worked as a waitress at the Strand Hotel Coffee Shop for many years. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Frances loved gardening and selling her produce. Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Stobbs and husband Larry of St. Joseph, Missouri; eight grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; and one brother, Melvin Goodman and wife Lois of Independence, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Bertha Smith, Josephine Goodman, and Mary Holmes; and one daughter, Vickie Ireland. Graveside services will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
