Frances A Bennett

Frances Bennett Frances Bennett, age 91, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at her home. Frances was born the daughter of Perley and Mary Ann (Weber) Archer on December 8, 1921, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Frances graduated from Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri in 1940. She was united in marriage to Byron Bennett on October 15, 1947, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1964. Frances owned and operated the Hale Package Store in Hale, Missouri, from 1947 to 1989. She was a member of the St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Bennett of Kansas City, Missouri; one son, Tom Bruchmann of Moline, Illinois, one brother Bob Archer of Chillicothe, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Byron; six brothers, Lawrence "Pat" Archer, Paul Archer, Clarence Archer, Leonard Archer, Joseph Archer, and David Archer; five sisters, Esther McVey, Marie Pearson, Catherine Archer, Betty Scott, and Pearl Louise Archer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, November 11, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, November 10, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. with a family visitation to follow until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, November 10, 2013, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the St. Columban's Catholic Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
