Floyd Charles Plaster Floyd Charles Plaster passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015. He was born October 26, 1938 to Joseph Clyde Plaster and Catherine Frances (Allen) Plaster.He was a service connected disabled Army veteran. His number one interest was hunting and shooting. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association. A life member of the Missouri Historical Society. A life member of the Disabled American Veterans.He was a farmer, and had resided in Linn and Livingston counties all of his life.In his old age he wrote the popular column "The Way it Was," in the Constitution Tribune.He is survived by three children. Pamela Faye Fitzpatrick, Ladson, South Carolina; John Harold Plaster, Hale, Missouri, Samuel Floyd Plaster, Jamestown, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the Full Gospel Community Church, located three miles east of Avalon, Missouri, at the junction of J & H. Burial will be held at Avalon Cemetery. A scheduled family visitation will be on Tuesday, Decemeber 22, 2015, at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Tuesday, December 22, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand River Historical Society Museum and/or the Avalon Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601.
