Floyd Addison Overstreet Floyd Overstreet, age 68, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. Floyd was born the son of John and Annie (Hill) Overstreet on April 27, 1945, in Wichita, Kansas. He was a 1963 graduate of Unionville High School and a member of their football conference championship team of 1963. He was united in marriage to Irene Peterie on April 20, 1979 in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives of the home. Floyd owned and operated Floyd's Heating and Cooling for many years. Survivors include wife, Irene Overstreet of the home; two sons, Craig Overstreet of Republic, Missouri, and Roger Overstreet of Chillicothe, Missouri; and two brothers, Larry Overstreet of Batavia, Illinois, and John Overstreet of Rochelle, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, February 17, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, February 17, 2014, 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held Richardson Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri.
