Fay Irene Bryan
Fay Irene Bryan, age 101, a resident of Glen Carbon, Illinois, a former resident of Mooresville, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Eden Village Nursing Home, Glen Carbon, Illinois.
Fay was born the daughter of Arthur and Grace (Winscott) Jackson on June 1, 1919, in Kingston, Missouri. After graduating high school, she attended Chillicothe Business College. Fay was united in marriage to Courtney Bryan on May 31, 1941, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1983. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Brookfield, Missouri. Fay was an avid fan of Billy Graham, and read her bible daily. She was a wonderful baker, loved animals and enjoyed spending time outdoors.
Survivors include five grandchildren, Jeff Bryan and wife Kellie of Olathe, Kansas, Jennifer Murphy and husband Ryan of Edwardsville, Illinois, Kristen Adams and husband Jason of O'Fallon, Missouri, Suzanne Ruthman and husband David of Chandler, Arizona, and Terri Feiden and husband Chris of Gallatin, Missouri; eleven great grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Barb Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Courtney; two sons, Rande and Kent Bryan; one brother, Ray Jackson; and one sister, Myrtle Appleby.
Private family funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, December 11, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (in honor of Fay's husband, Courtney, and son, Kent) and/or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (in honor of her son, Rande) and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
