Fanny Theresa Russell

Fanny Theresa Russell Fanny Theresa Russell, age 94, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Missouri. She was born on December 21, 1916, in Chula, Missouri, the daughter of Richard and Ina (Brady) Raney. On September 28, 1940, in Trenton, Missouri she married Keith Allen Russell. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1995. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Missouri. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter, Ceressa Kent of St. Joseph, Missouri; three grandchildren, Melissa Black and husband Michael; Laurie Gates and husband Jeff; and Amanda Klein and husband Travis; seven great grandchildren Spencer, Brianna, and Duncan Black; Lucas and Emma Gates; and Charles and Grace Klein; she is also survived by several nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends may call on Monday from noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Mercy Hospital and maytbe left at the funeral home or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P. O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
