Ezra Hughes Jr., age 83, of Utica Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 at his residence in Utica, Missouri. He was born the son of Ezra Hughes Sr. and Clara E. Rollins on November 7, 1927 in Hebron, Nebraska. He served in the United States Army during WWII. On January 31, 1958 he married Mildred Edna Gramling in Trenton, Missouri. He worked for T&R Soil Service and retired as a Truck Driver. He loved fishing, mushroom hunting, and was a regular at local auctions. Ezra is survived by his wife Mildred of the home; four daughthers, June Ann Branstetter and husband Donnie of Trenton, Missouri, Betty Lou Ingle of Fletcher Oklahoma, Beverly Ann Fields of Galt, Missouri, and Robin Smith and husband Jerry of Utica, Missouri; , 8 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren, 22 great-great grandchildren, and one brother Glen Hughes of Clinton, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Hall and Marshall Hughes, one sister Doris Ireland, and one granddaughter Tammy Fields.
