Everett Eugene Williams Everett Eugene Williams, age 84, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Everett was born the son of John and Maude (Rinehart) Williams on May 30, 1929, in Blue Mound, Missouri. He was a 1946 graduate of Chillicothe High School. He served in the United States Army. Everett was united in marriage to Betty Jo Engle on May 17, 1952, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She preceded him in death on February 22, 2008. He worked as a self-employed Farmer all of his life. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. He was also a member of the Livingston County Fair Board, Farm Service Agency Board, the University of Missouri Extension Council, and the Soil and Water District Board. Survivors include one son, David Williams and wife Carla of Chillicothe, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jennifer Anderson and husband Anthony of Chillicothe, Missouri, Andrea Beck and husband Stephen of Chula, Missouri, and Lance Williams of Chillicothe, Missouri; and four great grandchildren, Harlee Beck, Carson Anderson, Caylee Anderson, and Carter Anderson all of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Betty; one brother, Clarence Williams; and three sisters, Irene Haynes, Mildred Mantzey, and Julia Shipp. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church of Chillicothe and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
