Evelyn Troeger Evelyn Troeger, age 88, a resident of Grove City, Ohio, formerly of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, in Grove City, Ohio. Evelyn was born the daughter of Claude, Sr., and Vesta (Collier) Jones on August 10, 1927, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1945 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She was united in marriage to Raymond Troeger on April 12, 1947, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 8, 1985. Evelyn and Raymond made their home in Grove City, Ohio, since the early 1950's. She was a retired dental receptionist in Grove City, Ohio. Evelyn was a member of the Jackson Chapel United Methodist Church, Grove City, Ohio. Survivors include three sisters, Gladys Johnston of Breckenridge, Missouri, Dorothy Dale of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mildred R. Litton and husband Victor of Jamesport, Missouri; one brother, Claude "Bud" Jones, Jr. and wife Janet of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; sister, Helen Neis; and brother, Lloyd E. Jones. Graveside services will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made Grand River Area Family YMCA and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
