Evelyn Elizabeth Sensenich
Evelyn Elizabeth Sensenich, age 89, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, former resident of Dawn, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri.
Evelyn was born the daughter of Walter and Alice (Jones) Johnson on December 22, 1929, in in Livingston County, south of Ludlow, Missouri. On December 22, 1948, she was married to Kenneth John Sensenich of Dawn, Missouri. They were married for 18 years. She was a member of the Dawn Baptist Church, Dawn, Missouri, which she attended until moving to Golden Age Nursing Home. Evelyn worked at Banquet Foods, Gun Stock factory in Carrollton, Missouri. She also worked for Padlock Factory in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Evelyn was an exceptional car and lawn mower mechanic. Her favorite hobbies included fishing, and woodworking, with her specialty being mail boxes. She enjoyed large family gatherings at reunions and holidays. Evelyn's faith and love of God was great, as well as her love for her family and many friends.
Survivors include her children, Linda Hamlet of Ludlow, Missouri, Jimmy Sensenich and wife Sharon of Mooresville, Missouri, Katie Tisu and husband John of Kimberly City, Missouri, Betty Minnis and husband Clifford of Dawn, Missouri, Shirley Murray and husband Bob of Braymer, Missouri; one sister, Bonnie R. Peirce of Chillicothe, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Betty Johnson of Braymer, Missouri, and Mary Frances Johnson of Independence, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dorothy Karnes; three brothers, M. Wayne, Johnnie, and W. Lyle Johnson; two granddaughters; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Monroe Cemetery, Ludlow, Missouri, on Friday, May 10, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, May 10, 2019, from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, May 9, 2019, from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Monroe Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
