Eva Mae (Doane Kissick) Bachman Eva Mae Bachman, age 93, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Northeast Regional Medical Center, Kirksville, Missouri. Eva was born the daughter of Leslie and Sadie Doane on March 8, 1921, in Hale, Missouri. Eva was a graduate of Bedford High School, and the Chillicothe Business College. She was united in marriage to Warner Bachman on March 14, 1987. He survives of the home. She worked in several administrative positions and retired after twenty-six years at the Missouri Training School for Girls at Chillicothe. She was a longtime active member of the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Eva, wife, mother, and friend was deeply loving and deeply loved. Survivors include husband, Warner of the home; two sons, Ronald Kissick of Johnson City, New York, and Paul Kissick of Kirksville, Missouri; one daughter, Klarice Bachman of Afton, Minnesota; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Everts of Lehigh Acres, Florida, and Gladys Doane of Kirksville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Lloyd Kissick; and infant brother, Johnny Lawrence. Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, 1:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, one hour prior to the service from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Fairland Cemetery, Hale, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairland Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
