Eugenia M. Churchill, age 90, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, August 15, 2010 with her family at her side. She was born, on August 12, 1920 in Carroll County, Missouri, the daughter of Dee and Maude (Bunch) Minnis. Jeanne was a 1937 graduate of Chillicothe High School and she graduated from the Saint Joseph Beauty Academy in 1938. On May 25, 1940, Jeanne married Kenneth Fredrick Churchill and was married to him for 70 years. He survives the home. Jeanne then became a homemaker and enjoyed raising her children and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She also was a member of Junior Sorosis and Chapter T PEO. She enjoyed Bridge Club with her lifelong friends, gardening, and traveling. She taught Sunday School at United Methodist Church, Chillicothe. Survivors include her husband Kenneth F. Churchill, her children: son Fred Churchill and wife Lois, of Lake St. Lois, Missouri, daughter Connie Moore and husband Fred, of Scottsdale, Arizona, daughter Patricia Churchill, of Liberty, Missouri, son David M. Churchill and wife Jennie Jo, of Chillicothe, Missouri, daughter Julie Longwell, and husband Mark, of Gladstone, Missouri; her grandchildren: Mark Fredrick Churchill, Michael Roe and wife Christine, Matthew Roe and wife Michelle, Luke Roe and Denise, Abby Chavez and husband Tim, Neelie Churchill, Clayton Longwell, Donny Churchill, Duke Churchill, and Clinton Longwell and wife Tina; her great grandchildren: Colin Roe, Addie Roe, Kenneth Fredrick Roe, Connor Roe, Victoria Roe, Drew Chavez, Samuel Kenneth Chavez, and Margaret Churchill,; nieces, and numerous nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Cordie Trussell, Opel Baker, Bunch Hundley, Fawnie Williams, Gwen Johnson, Exylee Minnis; her brothers Dee Minnis Jr., Malcom Minnis, and Clarendon Minnis. Services will be Wednesday, August 18, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at the Unitied Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri.There will be a scheduled family visitation on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at the Lindley Funeral Home.
