Eugene Russell "Chick" Glick, age 90, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri. Eugene was born the son of Wallace F. and Bessie E. (Curnow) Glick on February 10, 1921 in Breckenridge, Missouri. He was a 1939 graduate from Breckenridge High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 81st infantry division "Wildcats". On July 17, 1950 he was united in marriage to Anna Mae Trumbo in Harrison, Arkansas. She survives of the home. He was a member of the American Legion of Blue Springs, Missouri, and of the United Methodist Church of Breckenridge, Missouri. He worked for Lake City Arsenal in Remmington Arms for 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Anna of Hamilton, Missouri; three daughters, Patricia Bruce and husband Richard of Hamilton, Missouri, Pamela Berg and husband Jim of Blue Springs, Missouri, and Tomisine Glick of Utica, Missouri; one brother, Bill Glick and wife Joyce of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; a close cousin, Betty Jean Melcher; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Donald; one brother, Marvin; and one granddaughter, Kim Bruce. Services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the United Methodist Church, Breckenridge, Missouri at 11:00 a.m. There will be a family visitation on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, Missouri. Friends may call at the Pitts Funeral Home, Breckenridge, on Tuesday from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held in Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge, Missouri.
