Ethel Nadyne Howe Ethel Nadyne Howe, age 73, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Nadyne was born the daughter of John and Ethel (Wiedenhammer) Cobb on December 4, 1938, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1955 graduate of Chillicothe High School. Nadyne was united in marriage to William F. Potts on January 2, 1956. He preceded her in death on November 30, 1964. She then was united in marriage to William E. Cox on October 4, 1970. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1987. On June 28, 1988, she was united in marriage to William L. Howe. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2011. She attended the Souls Harbor Church of God in Chillicothe. She spent all of her life in Livingston and Caldwell Counties. Nadyne enjoyed spending time with her 22 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She also loved spending her winters in Mesa, Arizona, which she had done for the past 22 years. Survivors include one son Bill Potts and wife Debbie of Chillicothe, Missouri; four daughters, Susie Peterie of Blue Springs, Missouri, Janie Mathews and husband Gerald of Cameron, Missouri, Lisa Runyan and husband Chris of Niangua, Missouri, and Beverly Hughes and husband Greg of Gilbert, Arizona; twenty-two grandchildren, Kasey Doolittle and husband Tom of Trenton, Missouri, Kandi Peterie of Chillicothe, Missouri, Kati Bush and husband Ryan of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Mandi Beckler and husband Jeff of Nixa, Missouri, Clint Potts and wife Kelly of Chillicothe, Missouri, Heather Johnson and husband Sam of Chillicothe, Missouri, Logan Potts of Chillicothe, Missouri, Chasity Vorbeck and husband Jason of Kansas City, Missouri, Jessica Rooks and husband Derek of Davenport, Iowa, Zach Matus and wife Rachel of Independence, Missouri, Destinee Mathews of Cameron, Missouri, Joshua Runyan and wife Amy of Springfield, Missouri, Brandon Runyan and wife Lori of Piano, Texas, Dustin Runyan and wife Melissa of Marshfield, Missouri, Dakota Runyan, Cearah Runyan, Ashley Runyan, Felisha Runyan, Whitney Runyan, and Leilani Runyan all of Niangua, Missouri, Sharma Mulqueen and husband Keith of Arizona, and D.J. Hughes and wife Chrissy of Arizona, and twenty-six great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Cobb and wife Myrna of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Leroy Cobb and wife Daisy of Cleaveland, Tennessee; four sisters, Frances Zummak and husband Duane of Waterloo, Iowa, Ruby Ritchie of Linneus, Missouri, Mary Grafton and husband Lloyd of Laclede, Missouri, and Dolly Mae Tyrrell and husband Ron of Norton, Kansas; one brother-in-law Floyd Lightle of Meadville, Missouri; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Everett Junior Cobb; two sisters, Doris Hamilton, and Betty Faye Lightle. Funeral Services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. A family visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call after 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
