Ernesto Llagas Abala Ernesto Llagas Abala, age 70, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Ernesto was born the son of Ireneo and Melesia Abala on January 19, 1948, in the Philippines. He was united in marriage to Gloria (Vicente) Abala on December 22 in Ozamiz City, Philippines. Ernesto enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. Survivors include two sons, Phillip Abala of the Philippines, and Ernie Abala of the Philippines; three daughters, Isabel Deguzman of the Philippines, Glorissa Abala of the Philippines, and Jennifer Spainhour and husband Floyd of Hale, Missouri; and ten grandchildren. He is also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother Milo Abala. Graveside services will be held at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Missouri, on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, February 26, 2018, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Missouri.
