Elizabeth Rist

Elizabeth "Jane" Rist, age 77, a former resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012 in Carrollton, Missouri. Jane was born the daughter of Orville Leroy and Rose May (Bradley) Ralston on October 17, 1934 in Harvard, Iowa. She was a member of the Soul's Harbor Church of God in Chillicothe, Missouri. She loved crocheting, sewing, socializing, and working at church. Jane is survived by one daughter, Pamela Wells and husband Curtis of Bosworth, Missouri; one son, James Hostetter of Bosworth, Missouri; one sister, Cecelia Hall of Chillicothe, Missouri; one brother, James Ralston of Liberty, Missouri; four grandchildren, Amber Johnson of New Hampshire, Jessica Johnson of Bosworth, Missouri, Phillip Hadley of Bosworth, Missouri, and James L. Hostetter of Bosworth, Missouri; and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Sam and Ike Ralston; two sisters, Genese Utterback and Evelyn Ayers; and five children, Burl Hostetter, Catherine Hostetter, Betty Hostetter, Richard Hostetter, and Orville Hostetter. Services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. There will be a family visitation on Monday, July 23, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe on Monday, July 23, 2012 from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
