Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Boon, age 47, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Liz was born in Atkinson, Nebraska, on September 18, 1964, the daughter of Mainard and Myrtle (Cartmill) Kramer. She was a 1982 graduate of Trenton High School and continued her education at North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Missouri, from 1982 to 1984, receiving her Associate's degree. She also attended the University of Missouri in Columbia from 1984 to 1986, and received a B.S in Agriculture and Horticulture. Liz was united in marriage to Michael Boon on September 7, 1991 at the St. Columban's Catholic Church in Chillicothe, Missouri. Liz worked for Citizens Bank & Trust for 20 years as a bookkeeper. She was a member of St. Columban's Catholic Church, Knights Auxiliary, and Council 1084 St. Columban's Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Michael Boon of the home; three daughters, Carrie Boon, Hannah Boon, and Sarah Boon, all the home; one brother, David Kramer and wife Bonnie of Minden, Iowa; four sisters, Brenda Hollingsworth and husband Tom of Blue Springs, Missouri, Debbie Kramer of Trenton, Missouri, Theresa Kramer of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Patty Chipps of Trenton, Missouri; three nieces, Hilary Kramer, Avery Bowe, and Jade Mock; five nephews, Jeremiah Chipps, Justin Hollingsworth and wife Angla, Nicholas Kramer, Jacob Kramer, and Wesley Kramer; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Donna Lewis; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law Wayne Boon. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday May 11th at 10:00 a.m. There will be a parish rosary at St. Columban's Catholic Church on Thursday May 10, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. with family visitation to follow until 8 p.m. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, May 10, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Burial will be held in St. Columban's Catholic Cemetery in Chillicothe, Missouri.
