Eleanor Frances Mohler

Eleanor Mohler, age 99, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away at the Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. She was born the daughter of James Robert and Ethel (Finley) Hunt on October 10, 1910 in Adams, Nebraska. She was a 1929 graduate of the Hamilton High School. She then went to Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. On August 21, 1933, she married Samuel Brown Mohler in Carrollton, Missouri. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Braymer United Methodist Church, Braymer, Missouri. She was also a member of Chapter Q PEO. She is survived by one son Samuel Mohler and wife Marika of Braymer, Missouri; one daughter Betty Nell Zerrer of Tonganoxie, Kansas; one sister-in-law Cleo Mohler of Braymer, Missouri; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother K. Hunt. Funeral Services will be held at the Braymer United Methodist Church, Braymer, Missouri on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call after 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri. Burial will be in the Low Gap Cemetery, Rural Braymer, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Low Gap Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Arrangements are under the direction of the Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri.
