Eldon L. "Red" Silkwood Eldon L. "Red" Silkwood, age 79, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011. He was born on August 25, 1931 in Braymer, Missouri, the son of William Albert and Eva (Null) Silkwood. He was a long time employee of Midland Brick and Tile of Utica, Missouri and served as a member of the United States Army. Survivors include two daughters, Becky Johnston and husband Ron of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; and Barbara Harper of Taneyville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Hether M. Johnston, Aaron Johnston, Larry Dale Harper Jr., Melissa Baugher, and Michael L. Harper; and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Kenneth Eugene; and one great grandson Troy Michael Harper. Funeral services will be held at the Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. A family visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri. Burial will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Scaggs Hospice and may be left at or mailed to the Pitts Funeral Home, P.O.
