Effie "Mildred" McBee Mildred McBee, age 91, a resident of Raytown, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Hidden Lake Care Center, Raytown, Missouri. Mildred was born the daughter of Clellie and Margaret Calvin on September 15, 1921 in Boone County. She was a Hickman High School Graduate. On May 28, 1942 she was united in marriage to John Nicholas McBee in Kansas City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2004. Mildred was a member of the United Methodist Church in Braymer, Missouri, and she loved fishing, bowling and traveling. She is survived by four daughters, Shirley Felz, and husband John, of Kansas City, Missouri, Barbara Still, and husband Darrell, of Braymer, Missouri, Patricia Waller, and husband Gary, of Faucett, Missouri, and Judith McCutchen, and husband Jerry, of Warsaw, Missouri; one son-in-law, Joseph Mulay, of Buena Park, California; two sisters, Dorothy Metzinger, of Ashland, Missouri, and Marjorie Bennefield, of El Cajon, California; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister, Opal Calvin; and one daughter, Sandra Mulay. Services will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri. There will be a family visitation on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Black Oak Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Black Oak Cemetery and/or the Alzheimers Association and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
