Edwin S. Anderson Edwin S. Anderson, age 92, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Indian Hills - A Stonebridge Community, Chillicothe, Missouri. He was born the son of T.R. and Nellie (Carr) Anderson on June 3, 1924, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a 1942 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. Edwin was married to Jean Groetken on May 10, 1947 in Chillicothe, Missouri. She preceded him in death in November 1988. On February 25, 1989, he married Jolene Miles Haas in Mercedes, Texas. She preceded him in death on September 30, 2014. He worked for the Constitution Tribune as a pressman for twenty years. Edwin then worked for D & J Wholesale for thirty years until his retirement. He was a member of the St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1084 3rd serving as Past Grand Knight, and of the Chillicothe Elks Lodge #656. He is survived by two sons, Mike Anderson and wife Kathy of Lincoln, Nebraska, Steve Anderson and wife Dede of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one daughter, Julie Johnson and husband Barry of The Villages, Florida; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jean and wife Jolene; his daughter Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Harrison and a grandson Robert Minges. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, November 25, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. with a family visitation to follow. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, November 25, 2016, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
