Edward D. Gray

Ed Gray, age 55, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Ed was born the son of William and Ruth (Warren) Gray on September 16, 1956 in Chillicothe, Missouri. On January 11, 1978, he was united in marriage to Cheri Morris in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. Ed lived in Chillicothe all of his life and was a self-employed trucker. He was a member of the Historic Truck Society and the OOIDA. He loved farming and fishing. He is also survived by his mother, Ruth Gray of Chillicothe, Missouri; one son, Joseph Gray of Kansas City, Missouri; three daughters, Julie Gray of St. Joseph, Missouri, Fawn Gray of Kansas City, Missouri, and Ashley Mautino and husband Gary of Chillicothe, Missouri; one brother, Bill Gray and wife Chris of Chillicothe, Missouri; four grandchildren, Tyler and Gabrielle Gray of Kansas City, Missouri, Harmony Aitken and Chloe Gray of Chillicothe, Missouri; one half-brother, Bob Roberts of Iowa; three half-sisters, Janie Rentz of California, Marylee Apel and Sherry of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father, William, and one brother, Stanley. Services will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. A family visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. Friends may call the Lindley Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Edgewood Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
