Edward "Ed" Lee Allnutt, age 75, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Livingston Manor, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Ed was born the son of Glen and Irene (O'Haver) Allnutt on August 20, 1945, in Brownwood, Texas. He attended Chillicothe High School. Ed served in the United States Army from 1963 until 1966 during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to Connie Lamp on April 21, 1967, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. Ed owned and operated Edd's Plumbing for over 30 years, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a member of the Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Allnutt of the home; two daughters, Vanessa Bowman and husband Brian of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Deana McLemore of Chillicothe, Missouri; four grandchildren, Barrett Bowman, and Miles, Chance, and Trey McLemore; two brothers, Jim Allnutt of Hillsboro, Texas, and Darryl Allnutt and wife Kathy of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents; and grandson, Jeffrey Bowman.
Funeral service will be held at the Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, September 14, 2020, from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Utica Cemetery, Utica, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Highview Baptist Church and/or the Parkinson's Foundation and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
