Edward Austin Cosgrove, Jr. Edward Austin Cosgrove, Jr., age 53, a resident of Utica, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016, in Utica, Missouri. Edward was born the son of Edward Austin and Delaine Marie (Curtis) Cosgrove, on February 2, 1963, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a graduate of Lockport High School, Lockport, Illinois. Edward worked as a welder and lead man for Landmark Manufacturing for 22 years. He also worked as a firefighter for Green Township Fire Protection for 15 years. He also was a fire fighter safety trainer and a hazmat trainer. He loved woodworking, fishing, and being outdoors. Edward was a Ham Radio Operator, and was a member of the ARES Ham Radio Club of Chillicothe. Survivors include longtime companion Thyrra Gillilhan of the home; one brother, Johnny Cosgrove of Gallatin, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Berten and husband Jack of Gallatin, Missouri, and Amie Pierson and husband Ben of Hamilton, Missouri; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, Missouri.
