Edna Mae Kepner

Edna Mae Kepner Edna Mae Kepner, age 97, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017, at Indian Hills - A Stonebridge Community, Chillicothe, Missouri. Mae was born the daughter of Lester and Emma (Kates) Weber on July 17, 1919, in Ransom, Illinois. She was 1937 graduate of Mendon High School. She was united in marriage to Harlan "Francis" Kepner on August 24, 1940. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1998. Mae was a member of the Mendon United Methodist Church, Mendon, Missouri. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was an avid sports fan, and was a loyal Kansas City Royals fan. Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Lauhoff and husband Ken of Chillicothe, Missouri; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; one daughter-in-law, Deanna Kepner of Chillicothe, Missouri; nieces, Connie McCormick and husband Donny, Gail Campbell and husband Larry, and Lois Elliott and husband Donnie; and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis; three sons, Eddy Wayne, Marlan (Kep), and Dennis Dewayne Kepner; sister, Grace Doss; brother-in-law, Paul Doss; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Kepner. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, March 5, 2017, one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Rothville Cemetery, Rothville, Missouri.
