Edna May Duncan

Edna May Duncan, age 84, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Missouri. Edna was born on May 23, 1926 in Marceline, Missouri to Charles Wesley and Opal Racine (Brammer) Powell. On December 12, 1948 she was married to Thomas Newton Duncan in Kansas City, Missouri who preceded her in death on December 19, 2000. Edna was a member of the Merry Minglers and Leaton Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom; a brother, Irvin Powell; and a grandson, Thomas. She is survived by three sons; Tom Duncan of Marshall, Missouri, George Duncan and wife Gayla of Meadville, Missouri, and Ben Duncan of Marshall, Missouri; one brother, Wesley Powell and wife Sharlene of White Bear Lake, Minnesota; seven Grandchildren and eight Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. Family visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Friday, February 11, 2011, from 6:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call Lindley Funeral Home in Hale, Missouri, on Friday, February 11, 2011, from 12 noon to 9:00 p.m. Interment will be in Cameron Cemetery, Hale, Missouri.
