Doyle Leon Proctor Doyle Leon Proctor, age 92, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri. Doyle was born the son of Ralph and Pauline (Bales) Proctor on December 2, 1922, in Caldwell County, Missouri. He served in the United States Army. Doyle was united in marriage to Lela Ruth "Sis" Nickols on April 3, 1943, in Wheeling, Missouri. She preceded him in death on November 14, 2008. He worked as a self-employed farmer and cowboy all of his life. He was a member of the Cowgill Methodist Church, Cowgill, Missouri, and attended the Braymer United Methodist Church, Braymer, Missouri. He was also a member of the Braymer Saddle Club and the Braymer Tweedie-Murray American Legion Post #117. Survivors include two daughters, Joy McBee and husband Stephen of Braymer, Missouri, and Lois Dowell-Corn and husband John Corn of Kansas City, Kansas; four grandchildren, Kristin Watkins, Trey Dowell, Jason McBee and Jodie Carpenter; six great grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Ruth Proctor of Lincoln, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two brothers, George and Bob Proctor; and one sister-in-law, Tooter Proctor. A Memorial Service will be held at the Braymer United Methodist Church, Braymer, Missouri, on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri.
