Douglas Leroy Herrick

Douglas LeRoy Herrick Douglas LeRoy Herrick, age 70, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri. Douglas was born the son of Joseph Cloyce and Mildred (Macko) Herrick on September 7, 1948, in Iowa. He was a 1966 graduate of Breckenridge High School. While growing up, he worked in his father's store in Breckenridge. He owned and operated Herrick's One Stop for 30 years, and was a great supporter of the Braymer community during that time. Douglas was a member of the Braymer Baptist Church, Braymer, Missouri. He loved his family, friends, community, and church. When his health would allow it, he loved golfing. Survivors include three daughters, Genelle Walters and husband Rob of Braymer, Missouri, Melika Baumgarten and husband Mark of Chesterfield, Missouri, and Cassie Cummins and husband Matt of Parkville, Missouri; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, David Blair of Salt Lake City, Utah; one niece; and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Becky Blair. Cremation was held. There are no scheduled services at this time.
